As they mentioned to the directorate of public and international relation of the University, they have visited different places and institutions that enable them to get useful experiences.
Kyoto University and University of Miyazaki were among the main institutions that have been visited by Dr. Kusse and Dr. Elias.
Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Jinka University and CAAS(Center for African Area Studies) in their trip to work different research and academic activities collaboratively.
Center for African Area Studies promotes the interdisciplinary study and research of Africa as well as it offers opportunities for the study of the continent’s issues.
CAAS also promotes the study of Africa in global perspective by cooperating with the other area-studies centers, international centers, professional schools, and departments.
Among the basic focus areas of JKU, Internationalization is one to be implemented for the coming years.
Hence, the University is very eager to collaborate with national and international Universities and other institutions in order to work together on building academic staff capacity, research and community service works, and on other academic activities.
Moreover, wonderful discussions have been held to tie together for future activities.
